Scotland may be regarded as the home of golf, but South Korea’s GOLFZON is dedicated to helping more golfers gain better access to golf facilities and have a better overall experience in golf by developing advanced golf simulators since the year 2000.
GOLFZON GDR (GOLFZON Driving Range) is a golf simulator specialized in providing Golf Lessons that allows golfers of all level to easily practice their shots by combining user-friendly statistics display, swing shot replay videos, fun features, and online service.
On October 9, 2014, the LPGA announced that GOLFZON will be LPGA’s newest Official Marketing Partner. GOLFZON’s GDR systems will be present at LPGA tournaments to allow golf fans to experience the most advanced golf simulator system.
For most golf beginners, their love of the game is only hindered by the difficulties in getting access to the proper golf practice. On Tuesday, November 25, 2014, all national golf team members and coaches attended the presentation of GOLFZON GDR instruction and swing time analysis at the Korea National Training Center. Pro-golfer Jung Woo Ham also attended the event and demonstrated to accuracy of the GDR simulator. GDR not only covers the whole range of golf swings – woods, long irons, approach, pitching and putting, but also provides a systematic analysis of the weaknesses and strengths of individual users. This level of advanced feedback will be very helpful in preparation for the 2016 Olympics.
Golf at the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil will be an official sport, and the Korean national golf team has been conducting tests and training at the center with the use of GOLFZON GDR. With the help of GDR, the national golf team will be better prepared to tackle the competition at Olympics 2016.
