At the HSBC promotional booth, two GDRs were installed for golf practice, the Long Drive and the Short Game Challenge events. GDR was developed to help lower the barriers to golf practice for beginners by providing the most accurate simulation data analysis from an ultra-high speed dual camera sensor system. The golf game can be divided into long and short games. In the long game, the player is required to get the ball as close to the putting green as possible, whereas the short game requires more finesse-related skills from the player due to the need for accuracy.

Short Game Challenge

Ryan Fox successfully broke the record of the long game.

The golf game can be divided into long and short games. In the long game, the player is required to get the ball as close to the putting green as possible, whereas the short game requires more finesse-related skills from the player due to the need for accuracy.

In the Short Game Challenge, from reasonable striking distance of the green with the ball located on the fairway, more accuracy are required than the long game. The golfer will win the Short Game Challenge if he lands the golf ball on the green as close to the hole as possible.

GOLFZON provided every golfer who has experienced the GDR in the gallery booth with a souvenir GOLFZON tee.

GOLFZON had the opportunity to step into the spotlight at 2015 THE OPEN and introduce its line-up of golf simulators to more golfers from all over the world. We are sure you enjoyed a brand new golf experience at 2015 THE OPEN.
