GOLFZON and GolfTEC have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the PGA Merchandise Show In January 2015. GOLFZON is the market leader in the golf simulator industry and GolfTEC is a US based golf academy leading company which has almost 200 branches around the world.
The purpose of this MoU is to promote global business through technological cooperation between the two companies. The combination of GOLFZON’s advanced golf simulator technology and the comprehensive golf lesson system of GolfTEC will be provided the synergy to raise GOLFZON’s brand awareness and introduce its products to golfers worldwide.
Under terms of the MoU, GOLFZON and GolfTEC will be committed to build a strong collaborative working relationship, while supporting each other in business development and furthering each other’s strategic objectives. With this MoU, the GOLFZON simulator will be introduced to GolfTEC centers, and five GOLFZON VISION golf simulators will be installed at GolfTEC in Atlanta. GOLFZON’s golf simulator will contribute to the diversification of GolfTEC’s revenue streams and while expanding GOLFZON’s business in the North American market.
GOLFZON CEO Young-Chan Kim and the GolfTEC CEO Joseph Assell participated in the event. Young-Chan Kim shared his optimism and noted: “GOLFZON has been highly successful bringing golf and technology together. We now look to GolfTEC with their successful learning systems in the U.S. and internationally to further expand our presence globally.” GolfTEC CEO Joe Assell also added: “We recognize the potential and collaborative synergy in a strategic partnership with GOLFZON and wish to further pursue ongoing discussions to better define potential Joint Ventures and investment opportunities.”
In addition, GOLFZON participated at the annual PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando which is held every January. It is the biggest golf exhibition, where all the premier golf manufacturers attend to showcase their latest golf products to the public. GOLFZON was the only Korean golf simulator company to participated in this show. During the show, GOLFZON provided consultation services to attendees interested in establishing business partnership with the company.
