Alison Lee, the popular golfer who competed in the 2016 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic, has signed a Sponsorship Agreement with GOLFZON, the manufacturer of world’s most advanced golf simulators. She also attended the event where GOLFZON donated its golf practice equipment, the GDR, to her alma mater UCLA golf team. Let’s revisit some of Alison Lee’s special moments at this year’s Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic.
Unique concept of the 2016 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic
The Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic, held at the Lake Merced Golf Club between April 20-24, is a relative newcomer to the LPGA Tour and features a very impressive venue with a unique concept.
The players get to compete and practice in a delightful amusement park setting. The tournament officially debuted at the LPGA Tour in 2014, where the 2014 Rookie of the Year Lydia Ko won the inaugural event and successfully defended her title the following year.
Alison Lee Meets GOLFZON
Alison Lee’s GOLFZON sponsorship signing ceremony was at the tournament’s media center, where she provided some amazing demonstration of the GDR to the crowd in attendance.
Her signing ceremony was followed up by photo ops with GOLFZON reps and a short speech from Alison herself. She said with enthusiasm, “I am very excited to team-up with GOLFZON, the world’s leading golf simulation company. I’ll do my utmost to showcase GOLFZON worldwide by performing at my best.”
Alison Lee & GOLFZON donates GDR
After the sponsorship signing ceremony, GOLFZON and Alison Lee donated two GDR golf practice simulators to her alma mater UCLA golf team.
She also had fun demonstrating GDR’s performance, providing how-to guides and showcasing its various modules. Alison Lee and GOLFZON look forward to the great performance and promising results at her competitions. We’re excited about her future.
